Jude Park
Violist Jude Park is a 2021 graduate of Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and 2018 graduate of Oberlin Conservatory. They have performed with numerous orchestras including the Houston Symphony, Shepherd School Symphony Orchestra, Oberlin Conservatory Orchestra, and the Imperial Symphony Orchestra. Jude has also been accepted as a fellow to Tanglewood Music Center, Verbier Festival Orchestra, Chautauqua Music Festival, and Madeline Island Chamber Music. As an avid chamber musician, Jude has had the opportunity to work with members from some of the world’s leading quartets including the Pacifica, Cleveland, American, Shanghai, Cavani, Dover, St. Lawrence, Brooklyn Rider, and Medici Quartets. In 2017, they performed alongside Geoff Nuttall at Madeline Island as part of the fellowship string quartet program. In addition, Jude has performed in masterclasses for musicians such as Roberto Diaz, Augustin Hadelich, and Stefan Jackiw.
A recipient of Oberlin Conservatory’s Dean’s Scholarship, Jude had the opportunity to study violin with David Bowlin and viola with Peter Slowik and Kirsten Docter, followed by Masters studies at the Shepherd School under the tutelage of Ivo-Jan van der Werff.
