Matthew Pavon

Matthew Pavon is a graduate of Missouri State University ‘22 and Evangel University ‘19. Both a professional violist and conductor, his activities have been in the Springfield, MO area and the Northwest Arkansas region. 

Currently an active member and Assistant-Principal Violist with Springfield Symphony Orchestra and a substitute for Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, he runs a small studio of students ages 13-18. 

He am currently the Assistant Conductor of the Missouri State University Orchestra, Music Director of the Galloway Chamber Orchestra, and he runs rehearsals as needed for the Kansas City Symphony Orchestra. From time to time he also conducts small clinics for high schools in the Springfield area.

He lives in Springfield with his wife and 2 mini-Australian Shepherds, currently preparing to apply for futue AD and DMA programs.
